{updated january 2019}

Whether it be a cause, a particular non-profit or a community, each of these brands dedicate partial profits to something more than the brand itself. With each purchase you make, a percentage goes into a mission they care for deeply. Not only are you supporting a sustainable product, you are sustaining a mission beyond the fashion industry.

The Tote Project

20% of profits are donated to Two Wings

If there is one brand that radiates hope & compassion in the most practical way {because many of us could tote-ally use a tote!}, it's this one. Based on friendship & a shared dream, Fay Grant and Michelle Chavez started the The Tote Project to support the recovery for victims of modern day slavery. With hope, they strive to empower survivors of human trafficking by providing them opportunities and helping show their worth & potential. Each tote is sewn in India by women who have left the sex trade, and with every purchase made 20% of profits are donated to Two Wings, a US non-profit dedicated to helping survivors pursue their dreams.

mini + meep

10% of proceeds to children in need

The sweetest little onesies you will find, mini + meep makes super soft organic children’s clothing ethically in the USA - even the cotton is grown in the states. Every piece is printed with non-toxic, water-based inks with ADORABLE illustrations. Plus, 10% of all proceeds are donated to provide free meals and emergency food service to children in need.

1 Toothbrush = 1 Toothbrush for a Child in Need

The easiest sustainable switch anyone can make - plastic to bamboo when brushing. Not only are Mable's {self-standing} bamboo toothbrushes biodegradable & chic, they give back to our communities, too. For every toothbrush purchased, one is given to a U.S. child. What's also great about Mable is their subscription program that allows you to sign up to be sent a new toothbrush every few months.

1 Bottle = 6 Months of Clean Water

With over 650 million people lacking access to clean water, Yuhme is just one great way we can help make a difference while being conscious consumers at the same time. Each bottle provides 6 months of clean water to someone living in the Central African Republic. How amazing is that?! We can get rid of the plastic reusables and disposables all while helping those who need it most.

One Tree Planted With Each Purchase

A pair of sunglasses responsibly-made AND plants trees? Yes, please! With each purchase of a pair of Woodsi sunglasses, a tree will be planted. Not only is the shape of the Yambas {pictured here} rather appealing, they are extremely lightweight and hand-crafted out of sustainable FSC certified ebony wood. The lens are dark grey and polarized so they work great for the blaring summer sun, and they come in a foldable recycled card eco-case! Each style of Woodsi sunglasses are named after a town in Australia’s region of New South Wales.

10% of proceeds go towards women education in Turkey

As someone who lives very close to the water, I’ve done my fair share of trying out different towels. Hands down, I’ve found my new favorites! Not only are QuiQuattro’s towels beautiful, but they are absorbent and ethically produced. It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to soft goods for the home {& outside by the water}! I think a product is so much more beautiful when it does more than just bring value in our life, but adds value to others. With each purchase, 10% of proceeds are donated to women’s education in Turkey.

1% of sales donated to First Descents

I am loving the vintage milk bottle style of the >ful. This water bottle is made right in the USA from non-toxic glass. For every purchase, 1% will go to First Descents, a non-profit giving free outdoor adventure experience trips to young adults who are fighting cancer.  By the way, how cool is the wood print? One month of tuition fees for an underprivileged girl

Olori is the word for Queen in the Yoruba language {spoken in West Africa}, which symbolizes the inherent worth & power within every girl. All of Olori’s handbags are made by artisans and women-owned businesses in Nigeria, AND each bag pays one month of tuition fees for an underprivileged girl in Africa. It truly doesn’t get more women-focused than this!!

Who Gives A Crap

50% of profits go towards building toilets

I always love when a product has a mission beyond being eco-friendly. Who Gives A Crap gives back a lot! For every purchase, 50% of profits go towards building toilets and sanitation for the 2.3 billion {roughly 40% of the global population} who need it. Because of poor water and sanitation, about 289,000 children {almost a child every two minutes} under five die every year from diarrheal diseases. To this day, they have donated over $950,000 to charity. Now, that is something we can all get behind!

siku jewelry

3% to the planet

When an aesthetic and message align perfectly, it can make for something really beautiful and impactful. Regardless of how the entire world feels about climate change, there has been enough evidence in front of us to show how sick our planet has become in the last few decades. Awareness is key in building more action to help clean our mess up. I love when fashion can remind us of our impact - & this brand does it so well! For each purchase made, 3% of profits will go towards climate change initiatives and organizations working to offer solutions for these global issues.
