happiest girl in the world

Designed & made in Australia, Happiest Girl in the World is changing the sustainable sleepwear industry's reputation to sexy AND comfy. Not only is HGITW promoting a healthier planet, they are encouraging women of all sizes to love their bodies and grasp our power to spread happiness to those around us. No negativity in this space here! Nicola Syme, the creator, wants to encourage throughout, and 'change the way women and young girls see, feel and interact with themselves, other women and girls and the planet we live on.' This is more than just sleepwear, it's a community of happy and it has a lot of work to do {I know there are a lot of us women struggling with body acceptance out there}. Let me just first start off by saying how incredibly comfy my mini collection of HGITW really is. The Asymmetirc Plunge Night Dress is made of bamboo & has sweet little side buttons to play with length. This plunge is pretty sexy & quite flattering!! You can pair it with the Essential Boob Choob to keep the girls in line, OR wear under loose fitted tanks out {which is what I've been doing}.

My absolute favorite piece has been the Get Off My Shoulder Baybee Sleeved Tee made from 100% organic cotton with luxury detailing in a satin bias. A little shoulder never hurt nobody ;) I love nighties, and this one is the perfect blend of feminine and cozy.

Who said guys get all the comfy undies? Us ladies want them, too! The Comfy Like Your Boyfriends Boy Style Brief are made of 100% organic cotton & are probably comfier than your boyfriend's.. :D The HGITW print on the butt adds a playful spin & really brings me back to my Paul Frank days in High School. Remember those, too?

I have to admit, these photos were a little bit of a struggle for me. I know my size is relatively smaller to many, but that doesn't mean I don't have my problem areas or insecurities. If you look at my blog, there aren't any photos of me in swimsuits or revealing anything and it's because I'm not really comfortable with my body. I have work to do - I know - but it doesn't mean I shouldn't embrace what I have at this moment. I think it is okay to push yourself for your ideal body, but this doesn't mean shaming yourself on the way. Businesses like HGITW help remind me of this. The lady community needs to come together, support and respect one another & embrace our differences.
