Moisturize with Hemp

The Skin High

Yeah, you read that right.. it's a hemp-based face cream!! How cool is that? I've spoken a few times on the blog about the benefits of hemp in textiles, but never the benefits within the beauty industry. Hemp is turning out to be a favorite resource of mine.. ;) Hempme is a Melbourne based 100% natural, certified organic, cruelty-free, vegan skincare! I've been using this every morning the past couple of weeks, and love it. My boyfriend has even taking a liking to the skin high, and has been using it just as much. I think we have finally found a face cream both men and women can get behind!

So, what's this guy packed with?

  • Hemp Seed Oil: Full of essential amino & linoleic acids to hydrate and protect, as well as antibacterial and antifungal properties to help clear up skin.

  • Aloe Vera: Helps sooth the skin by supplying oxygen to skin cells. My mom used to put this on my cuts growing up, but it has been used for therapeutic purposes long before that.

  • Chamomile Extract: Great for your tummy, as well as your skin! Helps repair skin, and calms you down in the process.

  • Jojoba Oil: A natural skin booster locking in all the moisture to protect and create a barrier against the elements.

  • Kakadu Plum Oil: A fruit with all the good stuff - & it's native to Australia. Comes packed with Vitamin C & E, as well as gallic acid, folate, lutein, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc.

I don't know about you, but I have a tough time getting my boyfriend to moisturize his skin. Most products are marketed towards women {& I totally see why!}, so I was excited to stumble across Hempme. I'm not sure if it is the fresh {gender neutral} scent, or that it is made of hemp, but it's boyfriend approved and that's pretty cool. It's our new morning 'beauty' ritual.

Want to make it yours, too?
