To create a fairer global economy by empowering people living in developing countries to lift themselves out of poverty and lead flourishing lives.
— Mission of Renegades of Chic

Interesting Fact: Women in developing countries reinvest up to 90% of their income back into their families. See how Renegades of Chic partner Good Return is making huge impact on women entrepreneurship, here.

After a lot of traveling and a background in law and economics, Catherine Webber {co-founder of Renegades of Chic} knew in order to tap into the potential that exist for women in developing countries she would need to support & promote meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities. Every purchase you make of the gorgeous goods you'll see below go into creating a better economy and world for us all.

Starting with the Santorini, this bracelet is from one of my favorite brands, Mata Traders, and is handcrafted by an fair trade artisan cooperative in India. I love funky patterns & summer colors, and this piece will add a nice pop to your warm weather wardrobe. Speaking of patterns, the Red Plume Napkins have a gorgeous hand-block print created with AZO-free non-toxic dyes. The cotton re-usable napkins are designed in Kentucky, USA by Graymarket Design and ethically made in Jaipur, India. I never buy paper napkins for the house, and have a collection of random re-usable napkins which don't match and have multiple stains. While I will keep those for my everyday use, my Red Plume Napkins are my go-to when guests are in town. Being 100% cotton {also, not completely white like many of my others}, these napkins are easy to clean and stains really aren't a worry.

Another lovely product, which may look familiar to you, is the Meridian Lee Duffle Bag! Made in Southeast Asia and designed in Portland, Oregon, this duffle is seriously awesome. I own and use it for all my weekend trips and flights {yes, it fits perfectly under your seat!}. This bag helps support jobs of artisan bag makers, and is made with so much love & hard work. If you are in the market for some new travel gear, I highly recommend one of these!! They come in multiple colors, too. :D
