Featuring Raven & Lily
If any town in France reminds me of Florida, it's this one. Tons of boats, people and seafood restaurants, the coastal town of La Rochelle is a must see for any beach lover. Unfortunately, we only had a quick stop for some lunch, a few photos and a little walk - then we were off to Concarneau. Being in the car every day for 1-4 hours was exhausting. It was exciting to see most of France, but I could have slept for a few weeks after getting back. I was lucky to have some comfortable clothing with me on this trip, including this romper from Raven & Lily. Not only does it look great, it feels great, too. It's nice to find a garment you feel comfy and confident in at the same time.
Why I Love Raven & Lily
Did you know 1/6 people work within the fashion industry? Most of them are women, and making less than $3 per day! A brand dedicated to empowering women, Raven & Lily is using ethical fashion to help alleviate poverty. Today, they employ over 1,500 women within economically-challenged countries like Pakistan, India, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Kenya, and Peru. By working with Raven & Lily, these women are able to receive a sustainable income within safe working conditions, education and health care. Their modern designs are thought up in Austin, Texas, but aim to reflect the beauty and culture of the makers.
I'm wearing the effortless Eliza Jumpsuit made out of an organic cotton & hemp chambray from a carbon neutral, fair trade factory in Kenya. It is from their Kenya Collection that creates fair trade jobs while helping to conserve the natural environment & reduce deforestation. I love the front buttons and the way it sits on the waist - very flattering! & good news, it's on sale right now!
