Always excited to showcase new emerging brands, and this one featured in today's Fair OOTD has launched a Kickstarter for their new collection this past week. LOZENA is creating sustainable fashion for the trendsetter, and their designs are total luxury. All garments are responsibly made, and inspired by the founders' {sisters, Viktoria & Kathrine} Slavic roots. Click below for all the deets...

LOZENA began three years ago when Viktoria, Kathrine & their mother could not find enough choice within the eco-friendly & ethical upscale clothing market. So, they set off to start their own line of clothing, and wanted to create pieces you can easily transition from day-to-night {stay tuned for a post on this topic!}. They knew how dirty the fashion industry had become; therefore, a lot of thought was put into the fabrics and production behind all of their designs. The fabrics range from organic cotton to blends of silk & hemp {Love seeing hemp used!}. Their textiles are sourced from communities in Cambodia, Bolvia & India which help support sustainable livelihoods, as well as deadstock from popular fashion houses like Nicole Miller and Theory {yay for zerowaste!}.

I'm wearing the Vida Dress, a modern take on the traditional Slavic Sheath Dress. I love the plunging neckline, and plaid contrast. This dress looks sweet with wing tips {the ones I'm wearing I've had for years and year} for day, and then paired with a neutral heel for night. The Vida is so unique and extremely well-constructed from the inside-out. LOZENA has a charm and character very different from the rest. See the rest of their collection online, and support their campaign on Kickstarter. Let's help put sustainability back into luxury!
