Fair OOTD | Beach Companions

OutfitsNatalie Kay

featuring Thought & ENAT

I'm sure you have noticed, but I spend most of my waking hours on or near the beach. I'm there in all sorts of weather, and it's not quite 'sit outside in my swimsuit all day' kind of weather, yet {it's coming though!}. Anyway, I still like to take advantage of the scenery so a comfy yet chic fair fashion outfit with a bag to hold everything I need is my daily go-to. So yeah - I take a few photos of myself {for sharing purposes ;)} & then get on with my day and enjoy the rays & waves - and today, lots of wind.

For this outfit, I have two brands to brag about!

The first - a brand created by two best friends, Eliza & Olivia, ENAT is making conscious fashion look super cool. I mean, how awesome is this black Leather Backpack?! I feel like they hit the nail on the head when designing for the millennial mindful-shopper. This backpack is incredibly well-made with an extremely reasonable price at $138 {I know you've been wanting this}!! I've been using it to tote my MacBook to fun work spots, and the front pocket holds my iPhone7 Plus perfectly. Besides being super practical, their line of conscious bags are all made fairly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Plus, each design is produced in small batches of 100 or less to avoid over production. Because you know how much I love getting personal with the clothes I wear, I'm happy to introduce you to Haimanot, the jewelry maker, and Daniel, the bag artisan- ENAT's partners. Eliza & Olivia have been best friends since preschool, and have had a strong connection to Ethiopia for almost three decades. Eliza's nanny and treasured family friend, Lemmy, was from Ethiopia. After graduating university, Eliza had the great opportunity to live abroad with Lemmy for five years. With this great appreciation that had formed for Ethiopia over the years, it was natural for Eliza & Olivia to seek Ethiopian small business owners to create the line.

One of my favorite brands throughout the last few years has undergone a name change! Braintree is now Thought, and the name fits perfect. I'm wearing the Iris Tencel Denim Jeans made from tencel and organic cotton. These pants are seriously comfy, and a great alternative to your usual denim. I'm always looking for lightweight garments for the warmer months, and for this time of year, these are the best kind of jeans you can wear! Stay tuned for a few more Thought Fair OOTDs in the next month - their new summer collection is gorgeous {as usual} :D
