Tribe Alive

I’m always interested to see what Tribe Alive comes out with next! I’ve loved getting to know this brand over the past year or so, and their quality and design is absolutely exceptional. Do you remember seeing the beautiful Classic Stripe Jumper last year? Well, they outdid themselves again this season ;)

Three Reasons to Love Tribe Alive

Designed by women, Made by women. Tribe Alive has partnered with talented artisans in Guatemala, Haiti, India, Honduras, and Fort Worth, Texas to employ at-risk women with fair wages. Besides offering a reliable wage, they provide them a safe working environment and the power to choose their own future. Transparency is a key part of Tribe Alive. Therefore, they make sure to work on site at all their manufacturing locations world wide in order to know exactly where the products are coming from.

Timelessness. With the minimalistic designs and easy color palettes, Tribe Alive pieces will be able to carry with you no matter the trend, as well as transcend all the seasons. They create their entire collection as one capsule, and with each new collection, you are able to merge them together seamlessly.

Textiles. With the Autumn/Winter 18 Collection, their textiles are more sustainable than ever. Using recycled and slub cotton fabrics, these natural textiles are sure to freshen up your closet while reducing your carbon footprint {because who can enjoy fashion when they know it isn’t kind to mother earth?}. These cottons are easy to wash and very breathable for maximum comfort throughout the day.

What I’m Wearing

Split Neck Top: This is one of those tops I can wear a few different ways for a very different look. It looks effortless with a little tuck in the front with a wider leg pant {or worn untucked for an even more casual look}, and I’ve been getting away with it as a small tunic with leggings around the house! Created entirely from up-cycled material, this cotton top is in handmade in Guatemala, and features a large front pocket and open sleeves.

Everyday Pant: I don’t believe in no white after labor day! These pants are perfect for anytime of the year. The elastic waist and wide legs make them extremely comfortable, and they are great to wear all day long - so think, travel ready! They are handmade in India and have two handy front pockets.

Figure Necklace: Handmade in Honduras, this 18kt gold-plated brass necklace makes a statement without being too dramatic. It’s modern, geometric design works perfect for a minimalist. Their entire new collection of jewelry is absolutely beautiful and is inspired by Tribe Alive’s love of clean lines.
