Reasons to Love Tamga Designs
Designs: I think this goes without saying, but their in-house print designer is quite talented, and I love the use of ruffles to make the pattern flow seamlessly as you walk. Plus, it’s always nice to know each piece was ethically made in Bali. You can find their entire code of conduct here for more transparency.
Fabrics: TENCEL® is one of my favorite fabrics. It’s made within a closed-loop system so all resources are recycled and waste is minimal. It’s similar to a blend of cotton and silk, but feels lighter and is less prone to wrinkles. Also, all textiles are printed at their fabric mill using GOTS / Bluesign certified dyes.
Resource Break Down: This part is the coolest because with each garment you can see how much you saved in water, CO2 emissions and energy. It’s a great way to see your impact by choosing a more sustainably-minded piece of clothing.
What I’m Wearing
Marga Mini Dress: This style I got in the Maluku print, which is full of vibrant blues and purples. I’ve worn this out about 5 times in the last couple of weeks, and each time I’ve gotten ‘WHERE did you get this!?’. I knew it was a good one ;)
Nola Mini Skirt: I’m wearing the Taman print, which has a very light and airy feel perfect for this time of year and all the beach/pool scenes. I’ve been pairing it with tees, but it also looks very sweet with the Lotus Cami.
