Changing Girls' Lives One Handmade Item at a Time

For every purchase, 50% of profits are donated to support girls' education in India. With over 3 million young girls out of school, it is crucial to help them return to the classroom in order to create a better life for themselves and their future children. All products are handmade in India by artisans in Rajasthan and Haryana, where Bloom & Give is committed to supporting their communities.

Bloom & Give partners with Educate Girls, which works in the state of Rajasthan. Within this state, 40% of girls leave school before completing the 5th grade. Educate Girls, since 2007, has enrolled 80,000 students back into schools and is only growing from here. The video below is a must watch!

After speaking with the creators of Bloom & Give, Partha Raghunathan and Madhu Rajendran {pictured below}, over the past few weeks, I was under the impression this business had been around for a few years. I was shocked to hear Bloom & Give had started at the beginning of 2015. The products and mission are so solid and wonderful & it is amazing how much a few people can accomplish in one year. I could really hear their passion and love for what they are doing, which validates the very reason why I started Sustainably Chic - to share amazing stories, like this one.

Bloom & Give has collaborated with The Onikas and Graymarket to bring us some amazing products! From fun Hamsa doodles to cool geometric patterns, the 'giving back' customer will fall in love. Use code SUSTAINABLYCHIC for orders of $50 or more & receive $15 off. Start shopping - here - & help send a girl to school for approximately a year with each purchase.
