Sustainably Chic

Soko x Pencils of Promise

Natalie Kay

'A product mat not change the world, but it could build a school that can.'

Soko is a sustainable and ethical jewelry brand working with nearly 1,000 artisans in Kenya. Artisans profit 30% for each piece of jewelry, which helps afford them better education, nutrition and healthcare for them and their families. For every purchase made within this exclusive line, Soko will donate 20% to Pencils of Promise.

Pencils of Promise ("PoP") works with communities all over the world to bring educational opportunities to children, no matter the circumstance. So far, they have built over 300 schools, and provided education to more than 30,000 students in Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.

I'm rockin' the Glam V Ring - reminds me of the tip of a pencil! Cute, right? It is made from natural and recycled brass by their artisans in Kenya.
