Retro Recycled Belts on a Sustainable Mission

Jelt Belts

The mission: To "Keep Your Pants On" while keeping their carbon footprint low & giving back. A win-win-win situation! Based out of Bozeman, Montana, Jelt's 'retro' take on belts is not only sustainable, but pretty darn awesome. Jen Perry, the creator, started the business out of necessity. She needed a belt which would hold her pants up, and work for her recreational lifestyle. Jelt Belt's are made with 100% recycled yarn, and a inner gel which helps grip the belt to your clothing making it perfect for hiking, biking, skiing, traveling... you name it! No metal, means easy security at the airports, too ;) The tagline "you need this belt" is the truth - Click below to see their modern-retro 80s vibes and learn how they give back with each purchase...

Besides their environmental responsibility with using recycled yarns & packaging, Jelt Belts' social responsibility is just as important in their business. They are dedicated to giving back to organizations supporting veterans, youth & families. For every Jelt belt sold, $1 is donated to Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation, an organization creating positive change for the lives of post-9/11 combat veterans through fly fishing in the waters of Montana. Jelt Belts, also, supports family & youth outreach organizations, such as Big Sky Youth Empowerment, Gallatin Valley YMCA and THRIVE.

I'm wearing the American Retro {I'm a big fan of the ol' red, white&blue}, which is currently 30% off with code USA2016 !! This belt is perfect with denim skirts & high-waisted shorts. Can't wait to break out my denim jeans with it this fall. My Jelt belt is definitely the most comfortable belt I have ever owned. See my other favorites below!
