Fair OOTD | The Conscious Capsule

with Sancho's Dress & Mamahuhu

There are many reasons to love a capsule wardrobe. You save money and time, and you truly get the value out of what you purchase. Plus, it's a great way to define your style because the thought process is so much more intense when picking out those perfect pieces. However, I get that it is little overwhelming to build a 'conscious' capsule wardrobe. Where do you begin? What do you need? How can you make sure every piece is responsibly-made and lasting? Well, luckily with stores like Sancho's Dress, they are making this process a heck of a lot easier for us. They've been working in ethical fashion for three years, so they know a thing or two about building a meaningful wardrobe. Their 11-piece All Year Capsule Collection will make your mornings searching in your closet for something to wear a thing of the past.

This collection features 5 tops, 1 sweater, 1 dress, 2 bottoms and 2 necklaces. They were all carefully selected in order to be worn a multitude of ways. Either add a few of their selections to your existing wardrobe OR claim the entire collection for £200 {$252}. They also have a payment plan where you can reserve for £20 and pay off the remainder in 30 days. Pretty great, right?! Im wearing two of the pieces from their collection - the Rosabel Tee {£38} & the Tammy Pencil Skirt {£42}. Both of these pieces are extremely comfortable, well-made and will never tire from being 'in season'. I'm a sucker for anything with stripes, and this tee is now one of my favorites. It's a staple for any wardrobe, and is made from certified organic cotton. Such a win! Not only do I love striped tees, but when paired with a pencil skirt the combo is on fire. Oh, and guess what? This skirt is made from certified organic cotton, too!

Now, what's a great outfit without a beautiful pair of shoes? My new Mamahuhu Colorines Cinnamon booties are my go-tos. They work with practically everything in my closet, and are SO comfortable. Like really - you need a pair!!! Cool thing is, they're unisex so you can grab some for your boyfriend while you're at it ;) What's even better than having a pair of awesome kicks is supporting sustainable jobs. Mamahuhu helps unemployed Colombian artisans to become business owners and job creators for their communities. They live by one of my favorite quotes, "Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime".

To complete this look, I used the practical and beautiful Pixley bag from Filbert. This handbag is sophisticated, minimalistic and made from non-PVC vegan leather! It can be used as a crossbody or clutch with its removable strap, and has three pockets for organization - two inside, one outside. This bag is incredibly well-made, and one I highly recommend adding to your conscious capsule wardrobe! {I have a discount code for you below!}
