Ditch the Plastic, Store It with Wax Wraps

SuperBee

Wrap it, Wash it, Reuse it.

I have to admit, I used to use plastic cling wrap a lot. It was easy and inexpensive, but I didn't understand the cost it had on the planet. Over the last few years, I've been searching for an alternative. I would cut up leftovers to fit mason jars or store items 'as is' which isn't ideal if you aren't a quick eater. When I stumbled upon SuperBee, I couldn't believe I wasn't already using a product like theirs! What an incredible idea - not to mention, they are multi-purpose. These colorful and fun printed wraps can be used for so much more than food like bouquet wraps, soaps {think traveling}, all those pens that roll around in your desk.. you get the picture.

SuperBee Wax Wraps are simple to use and easy to wash. Just wrap over the item you want to store and apply with slight pressure. When you're done, use a bit of chemical-free soap and warm water to rinse. They are made from 100% cotton ,OTOP-certified pure beeswax, organic coconut oil and tree resin {oh & a lot LOVE}. Your stored food will be safe since beeswax is a natural antibacterial agent. Beeswax also keeps things fresh because of its waterproof properties and breathability - so no wet, wilted food, just locked in moisture and freshness! Pretty cool, right?!

The wraps come in four different sizes - S, M, L, XXL - and the BEEginner {heh} pack is a great one to start with. Plus, the prints are too cute. Why wouldn't you want to make the switch from plastic to SuperBee!? This is much more fun to store your goods, and knowing you are keeping less waste from entering the landfill is a win-win.

& to think all of this inspiration came from the creator's 12 year old son! Antoinette and her family live in Thailand, and are actively involved within their community. They've assisted in the production of sustainable products, promoted reusable totes and use banana leaves to enjoy food out of instead of the usual styrofoam {ick, why do we even still have that stuff!?} :P
